Leona Gillette

Leona Lineya Gillette, 66, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at her home in Des Moines. She is survived by her daughter Jessica Hall and her children Casey Hall and Christa Hall; daughter Lisa Gillette and her children Alicia Gillette, Ananda Camp and Ahsaan Camp; the love of her life Tommy Rains; other loving relatives and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Lee Harrington, mother Opal Harrington, brother Dana, son-in-law Bryan Hall, and many other relatives.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Leona.
