Dorothy May Ellis died at home Sunday, October 12, 2008. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
Dorothy enjoyed any outdoor sports, sewing, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Ernest Jr. (Jackie), Roger (Ruth), Pete (Deb) and John (Tamara) Wheeler; 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; siblings; Rose Mary Eveland, Susie Sheperd, Pollie Waters and Evert (Bub) Northway; and her very special companion, Gerald McGinnity. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, three sisters and a brother.
