Robert Todd

Bob Todd, 77, of Windsor Heights died Tuesday at home. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Visitation will be 2-4p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2008 at the funeral home where a Masonic service will be held at 4 p.m.
Bob was born July 28, 1931 in Des Moines. He married Mariam Louise Overton on January 14, 1967. Bob served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the VFW in Beaverdale, the American Legion in Urbandale, the Waveland Park Masonic Lodge of which he was twice the Past Master, as well as a Past Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star. Bob enjoyed fishing, birds, fixing things, traveling, and being surrounded by his family. Above all, Bob loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Bob is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mariam; his children, Darrell Hoefling, Barbra Graham, Mike Todd, Bill Todd, Sherri Hartman, Myrna Dowie, Marie Burr, Susie Waller, Brent Hoefling, Mikey Carlisle, Gerald Todd, Mark Todd and Robert “Bert” Todd II; 36 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Raymond Todd, and John Prescott. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Hank and sisters, Coleen and Shirley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to City Life Worship Center, in loving memory of Bob.
