Jeffrey Mahedy

Jeffrey Mahedy, 47, passed away, Sunday, October 5, 2008 of a brain tumor. Jeff was born in Des Moines, IA on August 21, 1961.
Jeff is survived by his loving companion, Samantha Lias; daughter, Shannon (Chad) DeLouis; son Joseph Brockett; his granddaughter, Brooklyn; his parents Joann and Daniel Mahedy; sisters, Laura (Tony) Castelline; Karen (Troy) Shafer; Connie (Ed) Rice; and many nieces and nephews.
Jeff enjoyed playing guitar, fishing and having a good time. He had a great sense of humor.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines with visitation on Wednesday 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
