Service Details
Mitch Noah, 53, died Friday, October 3, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church, 4300 Beaver Ave. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Pkwy. A motorcycle procession escorting Mitch to the church will leave from Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Mitch owned and operated Porky’s Diner and was also a contractor. He enjoyed riding his Harley and loved being with his family and friends. Mitch was an active member of Lutheran Church of Hope, loved singing in the praise bands and karaoke.
Mitch is survived by his wife, Mary Anne; daughter, Gail Noah; son Grant (Heidi) Noah; parents, Gerald and Vonnie Noah; sister, Kim Martin; brother, Scott Noah; granddaughter, Taylor; stepchildren, Drake, Jonah, Cole and Sophia; and a host of other extended family members and friends. Mitch will be deeply missed by all.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I will never forget all laughs that I've shared with Mitch when he came into Porky's. He was a wonderful person and I will miss him so much. Our whole family is thinking of you guys. Take care.

To Mitch's Family,
I did not know Mitch but worked with Kim in the Surgery Department at The Iowa Clinic for several years and she was always so proud of her brothers and talked very lovingly about her family. My thoughts are with you during this very difficult time.

Buck, Vonnie, Kim, Scott, Grant, Gail and family
We are so sorry. You are truly in our thoughts and prayers. There are no words to say that can make things seem better other than we love you so much.
Lance and I will not be able to come to the funeral on Tuesday. We feel horrible we couldn't make it work. I have surgery cases Monday night I can't reschedule and I am speaking at a Breast Cancer Awareness seminar on Tuesday at noon. We will be in Des Moines this coming weekend and would love to see you.
We will be praying for the whole family tomorrow. This makes our hearts ache and we can't imagine the loss you must be feeling.

To Mitch's family,
I did not personally know Mitch but used to work with Kim Martin at Surgery, P.C. and heard her talk about him fondly many, many times. I know she thought he was a terrific brother. My condolences to all of you on such a terrific loss. Kim, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.

To Mary Anne, family & friends of Mitch.
I would like to express my condolences and sadness for your loss. You may not remember me, but I worked at Big Barn Harley Davidson in the motorclothes department. I was a frequent "bike nighter" at Porky's and Hugh's. Mitch was one of those smiling, friendly faces you loved to see. My prayers are with you.
