Service Details
Patricia M. Nereim, 77, died Monday, September 29, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2008, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
Patricia was born August 17, 1931 to Arnie and Alice Jackson in Story City, Iowa. She worked as a nurse’s aid for various nursing homes before her retirement in 1995. Patricia was a member of the Sons of Norway. She enjoyed making handcrafts and watching horses.
Patricia is survived by her sons, DeMarko (Terry) Nereim and LaRoy Nereim; sisters, Sharon Wilson, JoAnn Smith and Linda Hansen; brother, Bob Peterson; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Elmer) Buford, Michael Nereim, Clinton Nereim, Orrie Nereim, Aaron Moreland and Christa (Steve) Pritchett and two great-grandchildren, Keyonnie and Tyanna Buford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Quentin” Nereim; sister, Barbara Ringgenberg; granddaughter, Emily Nereim; and daughter-in-law, Connie Sanders.

Demarko and LaRoy-
Aunt Patty was always one of the happiest women i knew everytime i saw her she was smiling from my earliest memories as a child to even now as a an adult i can very hardley remember a time when i saw her and she wasnt happy and smiling. She will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families in this your time of need.
