I only learned of Rics death today after going through some old photos of him while working for me at Major Video here in Des Moines 30 years ago. Ric was loyal, trustworthy, honest. He always had a smile & laugh that would light up any room and always was there to listen if you had a problem. I only wish we would have stayed in touch ..RIP my long lost but never forgotten friend

I Knew I was going to have a great day at BBB if Ric and I were scheduled together. We both loved being silly and making each other laugh. Ric understood the importance of laughter and not taking yourself too seriously. He will be missed,

I extend my sincerest condolences to Lynn and all of Ric's family and friends.
Ric was very dear to my heart. We grew up together in Danbury Connecticut. His family and mine were like family. We were constantly with one another during our youth, until Ric's family moved to Iowa. Some of my sweetest childhood memories included Ric. He was such a gentle, kind and loving boy, who always had a smile on his face. I will always remember his smile. It made me so happy to know that Ric grew into an equally wonderful man and husband. His love for his beautiful wife was so apparent. That love is never ending.
Lynn, you are in my thoughts as you face this very profound loss.
Rest in Peace my sweet friend. Thanks for being a part of my "wonder years." You remain forever in my heart and memory.

Ric fought hard for a cure-not just for him but others. On more than one occasion he said if it doesnt help me it might help someone else. This is why we all loved him. Thinking of you, Lynn-always. Love LS.
