Henry "Hank" Mouzakis

Henry “Hank” Mouzakis, 71, passed away October 18, 2018 at Unity Point Health Des Moines Methodist.

Hank was born July 16, 1947 in Des Moines to Clyde and Minnie Mouzakis. He was a lifelong resident of Des Moines. Hank enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, fishing, gardening, storytelling, wheelin’ & dealin’ and his coon dogs.

Hank is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Judy; children, Tracy (Mike) Lara and Kris (Mike) Wagner; grandchildren, Bryce (Shanda) Wagner and Elizabeth, Danielle, and Samantha Lara; great-grandchildren, Damian, Nirvana and Addie Wagner; and three siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and best friend, John; and five other siblings.

The family will greet friends Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. with a time of sharing at 6:30 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
