Sharda Darniesha Latimore passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2008. She was born April 28, 1986, in St Louis, MO. She graduated in 2004 from North High School in Des Moines, Iowa. Sharda was employed at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She loved to do hair, watch movies, listen to music and sing. Most of all she took pride in nurturing her two sons.
Sharda is survived by her husband Edwon; children, Jalen and Treshawn; mother, Wilette Clark; father, Darryl Jones; mother-in-law, Annetta Jackson; grandparents, Jesse and Dorothy Hopson, Jeanette Clark, and Lucy Bonner all of St. Louis, MO; siblings, Shatonya Jones and Shanze Clark of St Louis, MO; four sisters and two brother through marriage, John (Latisha) Terry, Gene (April) Latimore, Marquetta Latimore, Geaneall Latimore all of West Des Moines, Iowa; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she loved dearly; special friends, Lisa Lester, Keshia Ingledue- Hernandez and Denise Hansen.
Services will be at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines. Visitation on Sunday, September 14, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., funeral services on Monday, September 15 at 11:00 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wells Fargo Bank N.A. c/o Jalen and Treshawn Latimore.

I admire your respect and love for Sharda. I have never worked with a family that offered so much support to the love one. I thought it was special to know that sister-in-law and brother-in-laws cared so deeply for a Sharda. Sharda shared with us that her mother-in-law gave-up her bed to sleep on the floor so that Sharda could have homecare and be comfortable( that real love). I had the chance to meet her in the hospital and she talked highly of her in-law. Remember that Sharda is at peace. Your heart may ache but she is at peace.
To her sons you were the light of her life.(The Patients will miss you guys running down the hall)
To Mr. Latimore you was her first and last love.( We always saw your face, morning, noon, night u r great
To her sister-in-law Kaeda she was so happy when you got her homecare. Another way for her to spend with her family. She was so happy that you took her on a all expense paid trip to St. Louis, MO to visit her family. (That brought a smile to her face)
