Mary Pauline Burrows

Mary Pauline Burrows, 92, passed away September 17, 2018, at Valley View Village in Des Moines, Iowa. She was born February 9, 1926, in Memphis, Missouri, to John and Della Stice.

Pauline was a talented seamstress for numerous years. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, B. Jolene Shockey; grandchildren, Trevor Shockey and Sara Burrows; sisters, Helen Picton and Barb Huston, as well as a host of other loving family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her son, James L. “Jimmy” Burrows, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

A private graveside service will be held at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Valley View Village or Taylor House Hospice in loving memory of Pauline.
