Nina Hutton

After a long illness, Nina M. Hutton, 50, died in hospice care on December 17, 2006 in Perrysburg, Ohio. Services will be January 9, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. at Hamilton’s on Lyon with visitation at 1:30 preceding the service. She will be buried beside her late parents, Frank and Katherine Hutton at Laurel Hill Cemetery following the funeral service.
Nina was born February 15, 1956 in Des Moines. As only child, she was the delight of her parents. A graduate of Des Moines Tech High School, she studied graphic arts. A talented artist, Nina graduated with honors in 1978 from The University of Kansas at Lawrence, Kansas.
Nina loved to read and enjoyed gardening and flowers. She collected antiques, especially antique dolls.
Nina was employed in the glass manufacturing industry for 25 years as a graphic artist and technical writer and retired from Owens-Illinois, Inc. in 2004.
Nina’s husband of nineteen years, Michael Rice of Perrysburg, Ohio survives. An aunt, Ruth Murphy of Davenport, Iowa and cousins Bill (Joyce ) Haussmann, Roberta Hauschild, Kenny (Mary Jo ) Haussmann, all of Davenport, Kathy (Russell) Bergert, Woolcott, Iowa, Neysa (Warren) Picklum, Cedar Falls, Iowa, James (Grace) McNeley, Cortez, Colorado, Joanne Middleton of Des Moines, and many second cousins survive, all who will miss her.
