Melvyn Cross

Melvyn Cross, 65, died at his home Friday, June 20, 2008. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
Melvyn was born October 5, 1942 in Iowa City, Iowa. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Melvyn was a craftsman at The Leather Bag II and a loyal member of E.F.M.C. for 30 years.
Melvyn is survived by his son, Douglas Cross; his loving companion, Maxine Litton; and his sister, Rita Duke. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Lee Brower; son, Troy Lee Cross; and his daughter, Tina Cross.
