Sam Summers

Sam Summers, 52, passed away after a short, but courageous battle with cancer on April 13, 2018. He was born May 27, 1965 in Louisiana to Gerald Summers and Audrey Sloan. Sam married Phyllis Hohl on August 22, 1998.

Sam worked in construction. He loved being outdoors and spending time with his friends. Sam never met a stranger. Despite his occasional orneriness, his personality lent itself to making fast friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Phyllis; mother, Audrey Villani; siblings, September Finch, Kasey Martin, Jerry Summers and Angelo Villani; many close friends; and his beloved cat, “Chubby”.

Sam was preceded in death by his father, Gerald; and sister, April Summers.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

A celebration of Sam’s life will be held at a later date.
