Jim Jeffries

James J. Jeffries, 80, passed away April 1, 2018, in his home in Des Moines.

Jim was born to Robert and Vera Jeffries on December 19, 1937 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a beer connoisseur. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, hunting, and playing pool and was a member of the Shriners.

Jim is survived by his siblings, Gloria Robinson, Barbara (Dell) Garcia, Robert Jeffries and Nellie Goods, his nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
