Linda Fisher

Linda Fisher, 69, passed away peacefully April 1, 2018. She was born March 18, 1949 in Clarinda, Iowa to George and Frieda Hemmen.

Linda graduated from Clarinda High School and later the Iowa School of Beauty. She was a Cosmetologist for over 40 years where she gained countless valuable friendships, her last employer was Younkers Salon in Merle Hay where she has been for many years. Linda was a member of the Iowa Donor Network and was able to help others after life like she did during her life.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and had a love for gardening.

Linda is survived by her loving daughter, Marie Fisher; grandchildren, Kayla, Savanna, Karina and Megan. Also her beloved granddaughter Amelia that she adored. Also survived by her brothers Gerhard, Gary and sister Sonja

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Larry Fisher; also her mother and father.

Per Linda’s request, her body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.

I was so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. I was one of her clients at Younkers and will miss her working on my hair and talking about our animals together. I'm so very sorry for your loss. She was a very sweet lady.

Marie, you have my deepest condolences. I worked with your mom from 81 to 89.
I so enjoyed her laughter. It could be so contagious. It was a great group if ladies in the salon that was like family. I loved all her stories of you she would share. I loved to see you at the salon.
