Helen Sabra Warrick

Helen Warrick, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Bishop Drumm, Johnston. She was born on April 28, 1927 in Ferndale, Michigan.

Helen was a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church of Des Moines for over 70 years. She was a member of Church Women United, Baptist Women’s Union and American Baptist Women.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Larry (Vicki) Warrick and Charles (Peggy) Warrick; 6 grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; sister, Joan Powers; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; brother, George; sister, Shirley; and parents, John and Sabra Sutton.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2018, with a funeral service to following at Grace Church, 4200 E. 25th St., Des Moines.
