Joe Porter

Joe died peacefully at home May 31, 2008. He was born May 31, 1956. He graduated from Southeast Polk High School and attended DMACC Culinary Institute. Joe was a life long resident of Mitchellville. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and enjoyed working for Mitchell Village Care Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Albert Porter and his mother, Ruth Maxine (Bailey) Porter. He is survived by Jeanne and Dennis Lane, Trinidad, CO, and Jeri and Tim Foster, Seneca, IL, and their families. He will be missed by family and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
