Clayton Nelson, 48, passed away unexpectedly on Monday , May 26, 2008 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 29, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, Des Moines.
Clayton is survived by his wife, Jeanne; son, Ryan; daughter, Jamie; mother, Lynda Christiansen; step-dad, Doug Christiansen; sisters, Shelly (Tim) Allen; Kimberly (Matt) Sheets; mother and father-in-law, Doris and John Weber; sisters-in-law, Terri (Pat) Reiser, Peggy (Greg) Anderson, Karen (Tim) Crowley, Amy (John) Hatterman; 15 nieces and nephews, and 1 great-niece. Clayton was preceded in death by his father, Jack Nelson and his niece Amber Nicole Sheets. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, May 28, at the funeral home.

I didn't know Clayton but am a friend of Kims. I just wanted to tell you I am praying for your whole family as this is probably the worst time in your life. I pray that you know Christ and that He can help you through all your emotions. God Bless you all.
