Anna Marie Merritt

Anna Marie Merritt, 84, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2008 at the Carlisle Care Center. Family will be available to greet friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Rising Sun Cemetery in Pleasant Hill.
Anna Marie is survived by her daughters, Avonna Lea (Kevin) Allen of Des Moines and Judy (Ron) Sohl of Texas; son, David (Karen) Merritt of Colorado; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two loving husbands, Roy Thomas and Everett Merritt, two sisters and one brother.
Memorial contributions may be made to Iowa Hospice in loving memory of Anna Marie.
The family would like to say a special thank you to all the nurses and staff at the Carlisle Care Center for their loving care and compassion throughout Mom’s time of need.
