Sarah Layne Wing

Our children are blessings from God, but they are only on loan to us. And the Lord saw fit to spare this one the heartaches of this world.
Baby Sarah, born September 7, 2006, was taken home to be with Jesus Sunday, December 17, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Altoona and will be laid to rest along side her grandpa Joe in Altoona Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Sarah is survived by her parents, Joshua and Kailan Wing; brother, Isaiah; grandparents, Jeff and Jennifer Wing and Linda Ruppert; great grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Joe Ruppert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial funds have been set up with Bank Iowa in Altoona and the Des Moines Fire Dept. Credit Union. Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. is handling arrangements.
We were all blessed with her precious moment.
