Patricia Shipley

Patricia Ann Shipley, 74 of West Des Moines, died Saturday at home. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2008 at Unity Lutheran Church, 1450 E. 33rd Street; visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Cunningham Cemetery in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Patricia was born May 25, 1933 in Austin, Minnesota. She and her husband were both charter members of the Moose Lodge #1252 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Patricia enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with her family.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Alice Cronin of West Des Moines, her daughter, Rhonda (Gordon) Caylor of Manassas, VA, her son, Rodney Shipley of Carlisle, her son, Derrell (Lynne) Shipley of Hiawatha, her daughter, Debra (Steve) Schultz of Dakota City; her 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Derrell, her parents Henry and Ethel Paulsen, two sisters, Jeanette Provo and Betty Murrow, and her son-in-law, Dennis Cronin.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa in loving memory of Patricia.
