Florence Beltrame

Florence Beltrame, 94, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the Kavanagh House on 56th Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 am Wednesday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7:30pm Tuesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, where a rosary service will be held at 7:30pm.
Florence was born May 3, 1914 in Des Moines to Rosa and Pietro Beltrame.
She worked during World War II assembling airplanes for the war effort.. Florence also worked at Kresge’s for 33 years. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She liked to travel and traveled to Italy and Canada. Florence was all about family and loved being with her family.
Florence is survived by her brother, Albert and her sister-in-law, Winona Beltrame; her nephews, Joe and Tony Lee Beltrame, her nieces, Barbara (Beltrame) Saunders and Janet (Beltrame) Behley . She was preceded in death by her brothers, Tony, Vincent, Geno, Gurino and Joe and by her niece, Lisa.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Catholic Church or the Kavanagh Hospice House on 56th Street.
