Minnie B. Wilson, 95, passed away on 12/9/2017. She was born March 19, 1922 in Des Moines to Bernard and Luella (Nisser) Miller.
Minnie was a woman of God. She was a member of Cumming Community Church, and her faith was the most important aspect of her life. She was very crafty and will be remembered for her sewing and crocheting ability. Minnie was also a very talented baker. She owned and operated a pet grooming and boarding service.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Lygia Berney, Heather Neeley, Cindy Wilson-Taylor and Julie Wilson-Jaramillo; seven great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; and nieces, Karolyn O’Brien and Rebecca Luloff; many great nieces and nephews.
Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, James; son, Bill Neeley; and sister, Lily Spear.
Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Aunt Bernice I'll always remember going to see you and Uncle James and letting us make ceramic ornament and figures.It was always fun to visit you guys so sorry we lost touch with you but please know you were never forgotten.God love and bless you lovely lady.Please say hi to Uncle James and my Grandpa Darrell..

Cousin Bernice was such a talented lady nothing she couldn't do. We enjoyed visiting her and Jim out on their farm. She always had a snack and coffe waiting. Told us a lot of family stories we had never heard before. RIP

Grandma, I am so very sorry that I didn't get the chance to say good-bye. Enjoy your walk in Heaven with the angels and our good Lord. You are in my heart forever! I will deeply miss you! Tell my dad, Grandpa and everyone else I love and miss them so much! You were the best gramdma I could have ever asked for!
