I probably spent less than 24 total hours in the presence of Denny, but this great man had a deep influence on my life. He was a friend and a skilled therapist when I needed both most. Visiting him in his office/garage always filled me with light amidst the darkness of the depression I was experiencing as a teenager. When I think of Denny I'll remember his smile, laughter, warmth, and the way he called me "Brother." I'll also be reminded that it is the spirit we bring to our endeavors that is paramount. I'm sorry for the loss so many are feeling, but I am thankful for the blessing that Denny was and is in so many of our lives.
