Karen & Kent. So very sorry to hear about Darrells passing. Even back in Des Moines on Frazier Street growing up I remember Darrells dedication and commitment to and love for politics. Again sorry for your loss. Don.

Darrell was really a class act in the conservative movement. First having had the pleasure of working with him from the 1976 Reagan Campaign- to this year. He always did his best for the GOP. This is huge loss and we will miss him dearly.

I loved Uncle Darrell! He was always so interesting to talk to and seemed to really enjoy life. I wish we had seen each other more and yet still felt like we were close as a family. I'm so glad I got to speak with him a few weeks ago. I donated $100 to the Paralyzed Veterans at 7025 Hickman Rd. Suite 1 in Urbandale, Iowa 50322. My best to everyone at this sad time. Liz

It was my honor to know Darrell. He was one of the first people to welcome me to Iowa. He always had a kind word and good counsel. He loved his party and we 'discussed' that quite a bit. Always a gentleman and someone who opened his home to me. I will miss him. RIP
