Dear Carolyn & Robert:
We wish to extend our most sincere condolences to the entire family of Roberta Hove. As you know, Roberta was a very special person to us and we referred to her often as Mother Hove. Our Friday Family nights with Arlien and Roberta will always be remembered with fondness. I loved to ask each of the mothers,"What did you do this week?" That story of mother Roberta going to Hilltop to get her hair done and ending up in Altoona at the Menard's store and getting right turn directions only back to 1144 2nd Avenue, was material for an award winning short story. Roberta was quite a lady and was extremely well liked and admired by everyone who knew her. Her sense of dry polite humor was legendary. Roberta was quick witted, clever, and always very, very proper. Her love for her entire family was evident by all of the stories she told and pictures she shared. Her love for for Anders and family were unequaled. We will continue to miss her greatly. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all in the days that lie ahead.

I worked at Hawkeye-Security and for a few years gave Roberta a ride to work in exchange for using her parking spot in the company lot. Roberta was always very pleasant and professional at H-S.
