Dear Family of Eddie Tornquist,
I met Eddie soon after I became an administrative-supply technician for the Iowa National Guard in 1970. Eddie ran the state warehouse and I was a Private First Class and brand-new right off the street. Your husband and father was a good person, a fine soldier, and I admired him a lot. He was always helpful with advise and with supply items that I just couldn't get elsewhere. For all of that I tell you thank you. I thanked him personally many times myself.
I wish you the best as you deal with your loss. I always believe that the Lord has his hand on our shoulder and will guide us and provide for our needs.
May God bless,
/s/
