Barbara Ellson

Barbara Ann (Spidle) Ellson was born on November 4, 1934 in Leon, Iowa to Earl R. and Velma G. Spidle. She died Sunday, December 3, 2006 at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2006 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Robert; her children, Bob of Des Moines, Jerry (Lou) of Chariton, Jackie (Dwight) Clark of Osceola and Sandra (Ron) Hyden of Arlington, Texas; brother, Danny (Pat) Spidle of Waukee; two sisters, Sharon Sandelin of Des Moines and Sue (Bryce) Cacek of Bondurant; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Scruffy. She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers and two grandchildren.
