Lola Hiracheta

Lola L. Hiracheta went home to be with the Lord on December 26, 2007 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center after a long illness. Funeral services will be held 11am Saturday at Evergreen Church of Christ with burial following at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines. Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm Friday at the church.
Lola was born October 30, 1942 to Della and Tillman Luckenbill in Fort Dodge, Ia. She was a supervisor at K-mart for 18 years and worked several other jobs before retiring in 2005. She loved going to “her” stores, always finding a deal she could give to others which gave her the greatest joy.
She is survived by her daughters, Memorie Hiracheta, Melody Long, and Carmen Hiracheta-Winkel; her sisters, Rose Lloyd, Virginia Roberts and Deloris Williams; her brothers, Bobby Luckenbill, Dick Luckenbill, Bill Luckenbill and Chuck Luckenbill; her 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Lola was preceded in death by her spouse, Angelo Sr., son, Angelo Jr., 4 sisters, 1 brother and her twin sister.
Memorial contributions are suggested to her church.
