Morris Liggins

Morris Gene Liggins, was born October 17, 1933 in Des Moines and was the son of Martin & Julia Liggins. He joined the Lord on December 23, 2007 while at home with his loving family by his side.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 Thursday at the funeral home.
Morris enjoyed working, taking care of and spending time with his family. He retired from J.C. White and Crown Ready Mix after 30 years of service. Morris then worked as a security guard at Per Mar Security for 6 years.
He married the love of his life, Laura on May 19, 1959. Surviving is their son, Don (Teresa) Faber; daughter, Kelly Hensley; grandchildren, Lori, Dony, Megan, Matthew; great-grandchildren, Brian, Kiara, Kiley and Emma.
