Cynthia Elaine Davis, age 39, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Dewayne Hampton; children, Dewaun Hampton and Latron Hampton; mother, Gail Buchman; father, Henry Davis Jr.; stepfather, LC Gales; mother-in-law, Surja Partlow; father-in-law, Ulysses (Pops) Hampton; sisters, Laticia Buchman Jefferson, Karin Plato, Keesa Tippett, Keesha Tippett, Elisha Carpenter and Jennifer Davis; brothers, Henry Davis and Chris Davis; sisters-in-law, Tajuana Washington and Ulyssa Hampton; brothers-in-law, Stephen Washington, Quinton Hampton and Adrian Plato; and several loving nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. Cynthia is also survived by her step-brothers and sisters and many beloved friends, too many to mention by name.
Preceded in death by her son, Tyree Hampton and her grandparents, Jim and Marilyn Buchman and Henry and Alice Davis Sr.
Cynthia had a heart of gold. She was a giving person and was always willing to help anyone in need. Her love for her children is indescribable. She was very positive and constantly looked at the bright side of things. Anyone who knew her, loved her.
Services will be held Monday, May 8, 2017, at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed immediately by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m.

My deep condolences to the Davis family , during this difficult time.. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to meet my cousin ,Cynthia. I was looking forward to meeting her and the rest of the family, at her sister Jennifer' s wedding. I read good things about Cynthia through facebook. Rest peacefully, You will forever be loved by your family.

I have had the pleasure of working with Cynthia for the past few years. She was always upbeat and willing to help anyone she could. My heart goes out to you all, her boys especially. You guys were her world! She was so proud of both of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
