Thomas Joseph Hill, Jr.

Thomas Joseph Hill Jr. was born September 19, 1958 in Des Moines to June and Thomas Joseph Hill Sr. He passed away March 31, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center.

Tom grew up on his parent’s farm in S.E Des Moines with several brothers and sisters. He received his bachelor’s degree in business and went on to work at several places in the Des Moines area. Tom married his wife, Gwendolyn Hill on September 18, 1992. They would have celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary this year.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gwendolyn; mother, June Hill; siblings, Bart Hill, Bernadette Rhodes (Dean), Chris Hill (Patty) and Elizabeth Hill-Bixler. Step-children, Lonnie Dings, Nick Dings and Jennifer Ruden along with several Grandchildren.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Joseph Hill Sr.

Graveside service and burial will be Saturday, April 15th at 1:30 p.m. at Avon Cemetery.
