Marcella played a leading role in her family genealogy, part of which was spearheading the Mack Reunions which included a total of 51 cousins. My first recollection of her was that of herself, Phyllis and Louise huddled around a radio singing along with the popular 1940's song "Daddy'. Our lives again became more entwined following her 80th Birthday Party and yearly Mack reunions. We often spoke about the closeness of our parents to each other. Remaining 1st cousins are: Martin, George, Norma, Lois, Ted, Fred, & Arnold. Marcella's presence will be greatly missed. Much more could be said.... what a 1st cousin she was!!

Marcella Wallace was a special EHS Alumni friend. We will miss her ever smiling face and positive attitude. Our thoughts and prayers are with and for the whole Wallace Family. We could always count on Marcella to be active with anything that our EHS family needed.Marcella also will be missed at Iowa Methodist Hospital. So many times, when visiting the hospital, Marcella could be seen volunteering to help with anyone looking for assistance.Thank you Marcella, in all you did for us and all who knew you.

What a neat lady. Some say you pick your friends but not your family. Well we picked Marcella as a friend and received a bonus when she became part of our extended family. She was a great example of not sitting still by being not only involved with but by being a faithful fan of all the things she loved. She was not ashamed to share her thoughts or opinions on any subject with anybody. We were welcomed by her unconditionally and we were tickled to have been invited, by Marci, to her family events. We will miss Marci. Remember the past and cherish your memories of her.
