Carol Marie Braddock, 62, passed away February 28, 2017 at Taylor House Hospice. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Carol was born December 22, 1954 in Osceola, Iowa to Raymond and Ruth Braddock. She worked for the State of Iowa for 38 years. Carol loved her family, the outdoors and sports of all kinds.
Carol is survived by her siblings, Barb (Clark) Duncan, Joseph (Linda) Braddock, Gerald (Anita) Braddock, Gene (Judy) Braddock, Diane (Dave) Wolfe, Donna (Roger) Phillips and Carla (Jeff) Culver; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Carol was one of the most generous and giving people I knew. As resilient of the many curves live threw her way as any one could imagine. She was a pleasure to know. Loved her family and friends unconditionally. She will be missed by all who knew her.

I enjoyed working with Carol for the almost 8 years I was at the Iowa DNR. I especially enjoyed her giggle when something really amused her. She spoke often of her nieces and nephews and the fun times they had together. She dealt with way too much heartache and suffering in her life, but you wouldn't have know it from her attitude. She will be missed.

Carol was a delight. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Very smart! Always polite and kind. I will miss our time together. Happy I had the privilege of spending time with her during her last months of life creating memories I will cherish forever. ??
