We felt so lucky to meet this amazing and wonderful person, she was very loving, easy to get along with, she leave good memories to me and my family. You will be missed Gma Melba, but we will keep you in our hearts for ever. We never will forget your quotes. "I'm a lonely little petunia in a big onion patch"....."Oh Mr.Doodly. I don't know who you are but oh Mr.Doodly!" Time never is going to stop, time keeps marching on,anyways I'm too old for it to stop for me!"

Many childhood Sunday's were spent at Aunt Melba's farm.We would explore the barns and pastures full of animals, feed johnathon apples from the orchard to the horses, and catch frogs at the pond. If we were lucky she would make a homemade angel food cake. It was on one of these days she taught me how to play scrabble. I would go to her sweet Adeline's rehearsals and watch her bowl now and then. She loved doing both. She would be Dad's map reader on trips to Arkansas and Burlington where we would go fishing and hunt mushrooms in season. She would tell me "Time marches on, and there is nothing you can do about it".she was a wonderful lady who has given me many wonderful memories. To this day my favorite Apple is Jonathan,my favorite cake is angel food and I play a mean game of Scrabble....She is part of who I am today.

I did not get to meet you, I wish I could have when you tried. You have raised a beautiful family. I am praying they have strength for their loss.
