Diane and Larry,
I served at Christ the King from 1985-90. Alma and I had great times together. Nobody could play like Alma. She was one of the 'great ladies' in my life. My prayers are with your family during these difficult days.

So sorry to hear of Alma's passing and our thoughts are with the family. There are many wonderful memories of her at family reunions and visits when she would sit down at the piano and we would all sing! And we felt fortunate to have her play at our wedding. We will miss you Alma!

I will always remember Alma's music and presence at Christ the King, and her kindness as a neighbor on Wall Street. She and my mom checked in on each other in their later years. Sending love and prayers to the family and all who cherish dear Alma's memory. I am out of town this week and very sorry to miss the services. May the angels sing along with her in heaven!

My first introduction to Alma was at the Bill Riley Talent Competitions. Back then I would never have guessed that I would one day work with her. We had many varied conversations and my favorite was discussing Italian recipes. Alma shared with me her homemade meatball recipe. It always makes me smile when I read from her instructions, "with clean hands, mix well." She was a neat lady!

Diane and Larry, Alma was wonderful! She and I had lots of laughs and we loved her spunk and delighted in her playing.
So sorry we are not able to be at her wake and Mass but we are on vacation. What a shock as she called me just before Christmas and was still living on Wall! Our thoughts and prayers

Diane & Larry, there are not words to express how I'll miss your Mom! She was always so fun to be around - we had lots of laughs over a cup of coffee, solved world problems & laughed again! All my kids/grandkids knew Alma - they loved her spunky attitude for her age. Feel blessed to have had her in my life!! Keep the memories - you'll have many!!
