Lo Vang

Lo Vang, age 63, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Lo was born March 18, 1953, in Laos. He immigrated to the United States in 1975. Lo spent his entire life as a motorcycle mechanic, especially loving Harley-Davidsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vang Van Nam and Houng Thi Lam and his son, Ricky Vang.

Lo is survived by his children, Susan, Tony, Rony, and James Vang; twelve grandchildren; and his siblings, Victory Lovan, Thai Vang, and Khong Vang (Phai Vang).

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, and will conclude with burial at Glendale Cemetery.
