Marguerite Sease Mitchell

Marguerite Sease Mitchell, 93, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Westview Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2007 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Marguerite was born January 20, 1914 in Waukee. She moved to the south side of Des Moines in 1937 and has resided there since. Marguerite was married to Dale Sease for 41 years before his death in 1973. In 1980, she married Claude Mitchell. She enjoyed flower gardening, playing the piano, traveling and reading, but most of all, she enjoyed her family.
Marguerite is survived by her sons, Gene (Marge) Sease, Jerry (Vyrlee) Sease, Danny (Roberta) Sease, Larry (Cathy) Sease and Don (Donna) Sease; daughter, Cheryl Sease; stepdaughters, Karen Scott and Rosemarie Mitchell; 26 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, five great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; her brothers and sisters; children, Sally, Stephen, Delores and Barbara Sease; step sons, Gene Mitchell and Don Scott and daughter-in-law, Elvera Sease.
