Ronald E. Anderson

Ronald Edwin Anderson, 74, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Kavanagh House in Des Moines. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Family will greet guests for an hour prior to the service.

Ron was born June 12, 1942 in Des Moines, Iowa to Wilbert and Chassie (Sears) Anderson. He graduated from Pleasantville High School. Ron served with the Iowa National Guard and retired as a Des Moines Metro bus driver.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather Talbot; grandson, Hunter Talbot; sister, JoAnn Wahl; two nieces; six great-nieces and nephews; and many cousins, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Kraig.
