Peggy Reed, 78, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 5, 1937 to Lawrence and Bernice (Walker) Mihalovich. Peggy married Andrew Reed on September 17, 1954 and together they raised 3 children.
She is survived by her children, Darryl, Tom (Kim) and Cheryl (Bob); 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Dick Burch; and several nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Andy; and brother, Larry.
The family would like to say thank you to all the people and staff from Comfort Keepers and UnityPoint Hospice for all their loving help, support and care these past few years. A special thank you to Linda Maier, Katie Bates, Ami Webb Paul and Mike and Dawn Ashley.

We (1st husband) lived next store to Andy and Peggy for many yrs. on E 24th st. They always watched out for us and our children....even having us to their home when we had bad weather!! I will never forget Peggy gave my daughter (Mischelle) a bikini as one of her new baby presents..It was green..I'm so sorry for this loss as well as Andy's!! we loved them!!

mom i miss you already i just dont know what to do, you were a strong woman you just didnt give yourself enough credit for that,i do know that you are in a better place no pain and no heartbreak just the pure love of our lord jesus christ i love you mom
