Bounxom Vongxay, 66, passed away Monday, July 11th, 2016 in his home surrounded by all his children. He was born December 10th, 1949.
His favorite things in life were going fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a devoted Buddhist.
He is survived by his children Vi Vongxay (Lacey), Virason Rasavong (Holly), Charlie Vongxay (Justine), and Tina Vongxay (Alvin Lovanrack); nephew, Kevin Vongxay; and grandchildren, Denver Vongxay, Brookelyn Vongxay, Cameron Vongxay, Sayann Rasavong, Noah Rasavong, Keelan Rasavong, Aubrey Vongxay, Allyson Vongxay, and Donovan Lovanrack.
Bounxom was preceded in death by his beloved wife.
Funeral Services will be held, 2 p.m., Friday, July 15th, 2016 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Bounxom.
