Vicky Lynn Spieker, 54, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Belle Plaine, Iowa. She was born May 23, 1962 in Des Moines.
Vicky is survived by her children, Sarah, Marcus and Stephanie Adreon; grandson, Christopher Garcia; father, William (Treasa) Wambsgans; siblings, Debra Ray, Melinda Lawerance, Doug Wambsgans, Terry Zuniga,and Kathy Raske; step-mother, Connie Lafferty; former spouse, Tom Spieker; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will greet friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street followed by burial at Avon Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Vicky.

Sarah, Marcus, and Stephanie my heart breaks from your loss. To lose your mother and your childrens grandmother is a loss beyond compare. You are beautiful children and your mother was very proud of you all. She had a smile that was contagious and it makes me smile to think of it. Always remember the pride your mother had in you and that she may not be physically here but she is always with you. She wanted nothing more than you to be happy and always be a strong family. Make her proud always. As a tribute to your mother I'm extending my hand. If you need anything, anytime, remember my name :) I'm here for you. God Bless.

I came to Polk City the summer before 8th grade. Vicky was one of my first friends there! We had some great times! So sad that she is gone. My deepest sympathy to the family.

My heart is sadden with Vicky's passing. Sarah, Stephanie and Marcus please know this, even though your Uncle Damien and I have not gotten to see you or your mother as much as we would like, we love you ALL so very much. I know that my words of sorrow will not give you much comfort right now, only time can do that. Vicky was like a second mother to me growing up. I am still in complete shock and feel like this can't be real. She was such a beautiful person and always made me feel important. I will forever miss her and keep her and her family in my prayers.
