Donna Cunningham, 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines.
According to Donna’s wishes, there will be no services held at this time.
Donna was born May 26, 1948 in Des Moines, Iowa to Harold and Ila Mae (Sindergard) Warner. She worked as a CNA and more recently owned her own housecleaning business.
Donna is survived by her children, Mike Lemon, Chris Cunningham, Crystal Cunningham, Jamie Warner, David Lemon, and Wayne Cunningham; grandchildren, Shannah Ohnemus, Jeremy Lemon, Tyler Carney, Keegan Carney, and Kimberly Lemon; great-grandchildren, Liam, Abby, Evan, Alex, Peyton, and Ashton; sister, Charlotte Willis; and best friend, Sara Bozeman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ila Warner; aunt, Sylvia Anderson; and sister, Jackie Zavalla.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Donna.

Donna was our neighbor across the street and she was the sweetest woman! It was a great pleasure to know her and we will miss seeing her everyday. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this difficult time.

Mike David Crystal Chris and Jamie....You guys have been a part of me for as long as I can remember. I loved your mother something Fierce and I know that she loved me the same way. I cant begin to imagine the hurt and pain that your family is dealing with. I offer my sincerest condolences. Donna was a wonderful caring and loving woman. Her smile could light a fire deep within that brought nothing but warmth and comfort. May she be at peace and reborn in her next life exactly as she was in this one,
