Roman Dean Augustus Palmer

Roman Dean Augustus Palmer became an angel of Heaven on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. Roman was born on April 15, 2016 to Travis and Ashlee Palmer.

Roman was a Heart Warrior, he was born with severe Ebstein’s Anomaly. He was a strong courageous boy having had gone through 2 open heart surgeries at 5 & 6 days old and 5 procedures throughout his time here. Bringing Roman home was the happiest day in his family’s life. He brought so much joy to everyone and he loved being outdoors. But our loss upon this earth, was surely Heaven’s gain and though his heart no longer beats, his memory lives within.

Those left behind to cherish his memory, are his mommy and daddy; his big brother, Colt; grandparents, Tim Palmer, Denny Palmer, Mark (Angela) Haley, and Angela Kronick, Misty (Brian) Haley; aunts & uncles, Jessi, Ariel, Brandi, Michaela, Jared, Blake, and Brilen; many great-grandparents; and a host of other loving family and friends.

He will be held in Heaven by his papa, Randy; great-grandpa, Larry; nana, Millie; great-grandma, Marilyn; great-grandparents, Elva Lee & Raymond; great-grandpa, Andreas; and great-grandpa, Jack.

Family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Thomas Becker, Dr. Mo Syed, Dr. David Hockmuth, and all nurses that helped take care of our son during this difficult time.

Family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, June 20th also at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Roman’s family in his loving memory.
