Dawn Renee Linn

Dawn Renee Linn, 50, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines after a brief but fierce battle with cancer.

All services will be held Friday, March 25th at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., with funeral service to begin at 7:00 p.m.

Dawn was born July 30, 1965 in Des Moines, Iowa to Gary and Norma (Ruby) Linn. Her husband, Scott considered her his savior. They married on November 23, 2002 at Lee Town Assembly Church and their combined family was blessed with 11 children. Dawn was a self-employed property manager and she enjoyed camping, singing, and dancing.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Linn; parents, Norma and Gary Linn; brothers, Gary (Sharon) Linn and Bo (Shawna) Linn; children, Scotty (Jess), Amy (Dustin), Justin, Heather (Cordell), Brandon (Samantha), Halla (Cass), Dottie (Jeff), Cheyenne, Shelby, Michael, and Reisha; and grandchildren, Tallon, Addyson, Knoxyn, Harper, Ila, Lorenzo, Aaliyah, Aalazia, Aalayah, Maddux, and one on the way.
