I was fortunate enough to have had Pat working with me at the DM Park & Rec office for several years prior to her retirement. She was such a joy as we would spend time working on the complex issues of those early days when the Park & Rec. department took over the finances for the Learn to Swim Program for the Red Cross. She had to account for the receipt of swim lesson registrations and then work on all the payroll issues of a large staff for that program. I felt blessed to have her at my side in those early years of the City's direct involvement in the Learn to Swim Program that had previously been handled entirely by the local Red Cross chapter. She would do her job with a smile on her face and an occasional remark to keep us smiling. It has been a long time since we worked together but I will always remember her. May the Good Lord keep her and the Anderson Family in the palm of His Hand. My sympathy to all of you.
