Richard Eaton, 68 years old, devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the VA.
Richard was born and raised in Des Moines to Donald and Ruth Eaton, who have both passed.
He is survived by his wife Gail of 46 years of marriage, his three children Jason Eaton of Des Moines, Michael and his wife Christine Eaton of Des Moines, and Jessica Eaton of Des Moines. He also leaves behind five grandchildren Ashlee, Allison, Hannah, Katelyn, and Kainoah.

To Gail and family, Dick was my cousin, my dad was Andy Eaton. I remember Dick very well as a child. He would come to our house and visit. He was a lot like my dad always teasing and joking. I will miss him so much. He was so young, dad had a couple more years but they both were gone too soon.

Richard was like my 2nd Dad. He was a wonderful loving man,a good husband and a great father and Grandpa. He will be truly missed by many. Rest in peace Dad. I'll see you again. I love you.
