Sheree Mae Ireland, 65, was born April 4, 1950 In Dexter, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Wanda (Hinshaw) Vincent. She passed away surrounded by her loving family Friday, March 18, 2016 at Taylor Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer.
Sheree grew up in Adel, Iowa and lived most of her life in Des Moines. She worked as a Sales Consultant throughout her life, most recently for Tmone of Des Moines. Sheree enjoyed watching her grandchildren participate in their many activities as well as watching the Iowa Hawkeyes with her husband, Jim. She was a member of Sunshine Open Bible Church in Des Moines.
Sheree is survived by her son, Scott (Tracy) Dawson of Altoona; daughter, Angela Poortinga (Cliff Brown) of Des Moines; grandchildren, Tom and Emily Dawson, Emily Cusick, Jared and Jordan Poortinga and Holden and Camden Brown; sister, Polly Comstock of Henderson, Nevada; brother, Jeff (Georgia) Vincent of Bainbridge, Washington; many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Ireland and her parents.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

I will miss you so much and I know you are talking with Jesus now and Jim.You will be missed by all but are no longer in pain So praise God I will see you there one day as well

Sweet Sheree, i am saddened to hear of you passing on to the pearly gates of heaven, now you are at peace and you will never be in pain again. You will be missed dearly by the PBS family.

Oh Sheree, I will always remember you. You are such a wonderful, sweet person who always made me smile.You can now rest in peace with your Husband that you sooo dearly missed.
