I was saddened to read about Jack's passing in the Des Moines Register. It seemed like just a few days ago that I saw Jack with his dad in town and we got to visit for a few moments. My prayers to all his family at this difficult time.

Condolences to your family Jack. Although we were second cousins, I have not seen you since we were about 15. I'm sorry we did not get reacquainted as we lived so close. I'll look you up at the VA in Van Meter, it is an awesome place. You have other relatives there. RIP Jack.

Jack and I became facebook friends last year. Jack and I had a lot of good times in our early youth (20's). He was a great guy and full of fun and vigor. No one told me he was having health issues which saddens me. We could have offered up prayers for him. Our prayers to his family for their loss. May he rest in peace.
