Todd Duckworth

Todd Eugene Duckworth was born April 3, 1968 to Ronald Lee Duckworth and Christenia Ann (Mace) Duckworth in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.
Todd was born and raised in Williamstown, West Virginia until June of 1980 when he and his family moved to Des Moines, Iowa. He finished school at Lincoln High School in Des Moines. Todd drove semi-truck for several years. Todd enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed telling jokes and making others laugh.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Duckworth; sister, Mindi Duckworth and his grandparents.
Todd is survived by his daughter, Kayley (Stephan) Duckworth; his granddaughter, Harper of Powersite, Missouri; his mother, Chris Duckworth of Des Moines, Iowa; his brother, Chad (Patty) Duckworth of Greene, Iowa; his many nephews and many friends.
Todd will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 12:00 – 3:00 pm at AmVets, 2818 5th Ave., which is behind Gino’s Restaurant in Des Moines.

Todd you taught me to hunt fish trap and survive in the woods, and in the mountains of west Virginia, and for that I thank you I'll keep an eye on Kayley bug for ya.... bye Todd
